Incoloy 800 is a high-temperature alloy belonging to the nickel-iron-chromium alloy series, which is mainly used in applications requiring high-temperature and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in the petrochemical, energy and chemical processing industries for its good high temperature performance and corrosion resistance.

Nickel (Ni): 30-35 per cent

Iron (Fe): balance

Chromium (Cr): 19-23 per cent

Aluminium (Al): 0.15-0.60%

Carbon (C): ≤ 0.10%

Manganese (Mn): ≤ 1.0%

Silicon (Si): ≤ 1.0%


Performance

High Temperature Resistance: Maintains good strength and stability at temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F), suitable for high temperature processes.

Corrosion resistance: good oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, especially in air and neutral media performance.

Creep resistance: good creep resistance at high temperatures, suitable for long periods of high temperature use.

Weldability: good weldability, suitable for manufacturing complex structures and components.


Applications

Petrochemical: used in chemical reactors, pipelines, heat exchangers, etc., especially in high temperature and corrosive environments.

Energy: Used in boilers and furnace tubes of power plants, subject to high temperature and high pressure environments.

Chemical Processing: For the treatment of various chemical media, especially acidic and alkaline media.

Heat exchangers: for high temperature heat exchange applications.


Incoloy 800H

Incoloy 800H is an improved version of Incoloy 800 specifically designed to withstand higher temperatures and more stringent application requirements. It is an alloy based on Incoloy 800, but with higher strength and better high-temperature properties.

Nickel (Ni): 30-35 percent

Iron (Fe): Balance

Chromium (Cr): 19-23 percent

Carbon (C): 0.05-0.10 per cent

Aluminium (Al): 0.15-0.60

Titanium (Ti): 0.60-1.20%

Manganese (Mn): ≤ 1.0%

Silicon (Si): ≤ 1.0%


Field of application

High Temperature Resistance: Maintains good strength and stability at temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F). Suitable for extreme high temperature environments.

Corrosion resistance: excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, especially in the oxidising environment at high temperatures.

Creep resistance: excellent creep resistance, suitable for long time high temperature load environment.

Weldability: good welding performance, suitable for the manufacture of complex structures and high temperature components.


Incoloy 800HT 

A further improved version of Incoloy 800H, designed to provide increased strength and durability in extreme high temperature environments. It is primarily used in applications requiring extreme heat resistance and high temperature stability.

Chromium (Cr): 19-23 per cent

Carbon (C): 0.06-0.10 per cent

Aluminium (Al): 0.15-0.60

Titanium (Ti): 0.60-1.20%

Manganese (Mn): ≤ 1.0%

Silicon (Si): ≤ 1.0%


Performance

High Temperature Resistance: Maintains excellent performance at temperatures up to 1200°C (2192°F). Suitable for use in extreme high-temperature environments.

Corrosion Resistance: Provides good resistance to oxidation and corrosion, especially in oxidising environments at high temperatures.

Creep resistance: excellent creep resistance, suitable for long time high temperature load application.

Weldability: Good weldability, suitable for the manufacture of complex structures and high temperature components.

Incoloy 825

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy used in a wide variety of industrial applications for its excellent corrosion and high temperature resistance. It performs well in acidic and oxidising environments and is suitable for applications requiring high corrosion and temperature resistance.

Nickel (Ni): 38-46 per cent

Iron (Fe): balance

Chromium (Cr): 19.5-23.5 per cent

Molybdenum (Mo): 2.5-3.5 per cent

Copper (Cu): 1.0-2.0%

Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.50 per cent

Manganese (Mn): ≤ 1.0%

Carbon (C): ≤ 0.05%


Properties

Corrosion resistance: Excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic environments such as sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid, fluoride and marine environments. The presence of molybdenum and copper enhances the resistance to these corrosive media.

HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: Good high temperature performance with stability up to 550°C (1022°F) for medium to high temperature environments.

Oxidation Resistance: Excellent oxidation resistance, suitable for high temperature oxidising environments.

Weldability: Good weldability for complex components and structures.


Applications

Petrochemical: Used in petroleum refining and chemical processing equipment, such as reactors, pipelines and tanks.

Offshore: For offshore platforms, marine structures and equipment due to its excellent corrosion resistance.

Chemical Processing: Used in acidic media and corrosive environments, such as pickling tanks and chemical reactors.

Incoloy 925

Incoloy 925 is a high-strength nickel-iron-chromium alloy especially suited for use in high-temperature and corrosive environments. It offers improved strength and excellent corrosion resistance for applications requiring extreme conditions.

Iron (Fe): Balance

Chromium (Cr): 20-22 per cent

Molybdenum (Mo): 6.0-7.0 per cent

Titanium (Ti): 0.5-1.0%

Aluminium (Al): ≤ 0.20%

Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.50

Manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.50

Carbon (C): ≤ 0.03%


Performance

Corrosion resistance: excellent corrosion resistance, especially in acidic media and chlorinated environment, such as seawater and acid.

High temperature resistance: maintain good strength and stability in high temperature environments, can be used in temperatures up to 700 ° C (1292 ° F).

Creep Resistance: Good creep resistance for long periods of high temperature loading.

Mechanical Properties: High strength to withstand high mechanical loads.
